Forgiveness Is Offered - But Must Be Received
- 1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive…”
- Matthew 6:15 – “If you do not forgive others… your Father will not forgive you.”
God has already forgiven all your sins through the sacrifice of Jesus. But if you hold on to unforgiveness, you block yourself from receiving that forgiveness. When we confess our sins, we open the door to fully receive the mercy He’s already made available.
God’s forgiveness is like a well - always full, but you must draw from it with the right posture of heart.
Confession isn’t about earning forgiveness - it’s about receiving what He already made available. Not because God withholds love or forgiveness, but because your heart is closed to receiving it.
📌 Principle:
God’s grace flows to the humble.
Forgiveness is poured out, but only the surrendered can receive it.
